Prior to joining in Pacific University, Dr. Hyun Jeong Min worked as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Black Hills State University in South Dakota. Dr. Min received her B.A. and M.A. in Mass Communications from Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea and Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from the University of Utah. Before pursuing her Ph.D., she worked as a researcher at Gallup Korea in Seoul. Her primary research interests are in the field of Consumer Behavior. Specifically, she is interested in identity construction through various consumption practices such as dieting and fashion, global consumer culture, and medical consumption. Dr. Min’s teaching interests are quite diverse including Principles of Marketing, Advertising, Consumer Behavior, and Marketing Research. In her free time, she likes to watch movies.
