2022-2023 Undergraduate Student Senate Application and Election Season is Underway

Are you passionate about Pacific University? Do you ant to make a difference on campus?

The Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) is currently accepting applications for 2022-2023. The USS serves as the official representative of the undergraduate student community. Its goal is to foster a spirit of unity and provide representation of Pacific University students.

USS executive board member positions include president and vice president positions for campus betterment, communications, finance, and leadership. Apply here by Thursday, March 10. Campaigning starts March 11.

Senator positions are open to all full-time, registered undergraduate students who have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and plan on attending Pacific University for the entire academic year.

Senate terms last one-year, officially beginning in August, with senators serving as observers after spring break. Senators may run for office each academic year — many senators serve on the USS for three years.

Interested students should complete candidate applications by March 10.

USS Elections

Ballots, along with candidate photos and statements will be emailed to students. Elections will be held online with voting beginning at 9 .m. March 15, and concluding at 5 p.m. March 16.
