Athletic Giving Days Delivers a Significant Win for Pacific Athletics

Pacific University’s fourth annual Athletic Giving Days hit the ground running and sprinted to the finish line, breaking records and raising vital funds for our Boxer athletic programs. 

Heading into Athletic Giving Days, our goal was to receive support from 650 donors to support Boxer Athletics and our approximately 650 student-athletes. Our Boxer community met that milestone early in our promotion period, then soon after doubled it with no signs of slowing down and setting a new donor count record for Athletic Giving Days. 

Families, friends, alumni and Pacific employees showed up to rally behind their favorite Boxer sports. This year, we witnessed a surge of support from grandparents which provided remarkable support to the next generation. Every contribution reinforces our community’s commitment to Pacific student-athletes and their success on or off the competitive arena. 

The support on Athletic Giving Days is a game changer for our athletic teams, clubs and funds, making sure every student-athlete can shoot for the stars, no matter their sport of choice. 

At the finish line on the second day, the final score was more than $200,000 in support of Pacific’s student-athletes and the Athletic Department. 

“We are so thankful for the support of the over 1800 individuals that believe in our student-athletes and their experience,” Athletic Director Keith Buckley said. “I know I speak for the entire department of coaches, staff and student-athletes in expressing our appreciation for a record-breaking campaign.”
