Boxer Love Story: Caleb Werner '12, PT '15 and Kasey (Fisher) Werner '13

Caleb and Kasey met the day before school started freshman year at Pacific, during the Fall of 2009.

They met while playing a volleyball game on the Clark Hall volleyball court. Caleb asked if he could play a game with us and that began the start of our friendship. They were friends for an entire year and got to know each other through Bible studies, hanging out with friends, and during Spring Break when they were about the only ones around campus.

During the summer of 2010 Caleb and Kasey stayed in touch. They were both going to be Orientation Team Leaders (OTL's) for the following school year, so Kasey invited Caleb to come spend a few days with her family in California on his way up to Pacific from Arizona.

Caleb spent two days with Kasey’s family. On the last day of his visit, Caleb and Kasey went to Yosemite National Park. After spending the whole day talking non-stop, they realized how much they had in common— faith in God, love for the outdoors, and crazy families.

Two weeks later, Caleb and Kasey started dating and became inseparable friends. One year later they were engaged and married on June 17, 2012. Caleb and Kasey love being married and take on everyday as a new adventure together with Jesus Christ.

They are looking forward to raising a family and spending all of their years together!
