Carly Sproul OT ’21: School of Occupational Therapy Outstanding Graduate Award

Carly Sproul OT ’21 received the Pacific University Alumni Association Outstanding Graduate Award for the School of Occupational Therapy.

“Carly has consistently been a very active ambassador to the Pacific University School of Occupational Therapy for prospective and current students throughout out her educational experience,” professors said. “She consistently volunteers to assist, and often takes leadership roles, in many of the events within the School of OT that are critical to the success of the program.”

Sproul, who is from Astoria, Ore., graduated from Pacific University in August 2021 with a doctor of occupational therapy degree.

The School of Occupational Therapy offers a three-year professional, entry-level doctoral program that prepares students for national board certification as an occupational therapist. OTs are healthcare professionals who work with clients to facilitate their ability to engage in occupations — professional, personal or recreational — that give meaning to their lives.
