Check COVID-19 Tests for Expiration Dates
For most of 2023 Pacific University provided free COVID tests to faculty, staff and students. These tests have now, most likely, passed their expiration dates. The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) did provide several date extensions on these tests, but the FDA is no longer extending those dates. You can use the FDA COVID Test website to see if your tests have expired. The website includes information regarding extensions.
If your tests are past their expiration dates, please dispose of them in the trash. Anyone in need of a test can purchase one at a local pharmacy, drug store and certain grocery retailers. Individuals are encouraged to purchase tests as needed. These tests are flexible spending account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible.
Additional information on COVID-19 and many other health related topics can be found on the Student and Employee Health Center’s Health Topics page.
