Confidential Advocates Offer Support to Help Process Unwanted Sexual Experiences
Confidential Advocates are a small group of faculty and staff who have completed the 40-hour comprehensive advocate training offered through the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force. The network has BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Advocates with Disabilities represented on the network.
If you have had an unwanted, confusing, coerced, or forced sexual experience, or if you have concerns about your relationship, advocates can help you process your experience, connect you to resources, and explain your options for reporting.
Unlike all other staff and faculty on campus, confidential advocates are not obligated to report incidents to the Title IX office unless the student would like to move forward with a complaint.
