Dr. Chunming Liu Granted Tenure at Pacific University

Dr. Chunming Liu has been granted indefinite tenure at Pacific University.

Dr. Liu is a faculty member in the College of Optometry, where her primary clinical interests and research goals are directed at understanding the basic neural control mechanisms of visual system, exploring the pathophysiology underlining clinical binocular disorders, and developing potential treatment strategies to promote visual rehabilitation, especially in patients who have experienced acquired brain injury. 

She also is principle investigator for the Childhood Atropine for Myopia Progression (CHAMP) study in the College of Optometry.

She joined the Pacific University faculty in 2017. She holds a PhD in neuroscience from Washington State University and a doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry.
