Kelsey Koll OT ’21 received the Global Citizen Award from the Pacific University School of Occupational Therapy.

Kelsey Koll receives award at August commencement“Kelsey has been a steadfast advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion as a student in the School of OT,” her professors wrote. “She readily immerses herself in learning about other cultures and continually reflects on the actions she can take to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. Most importantly, Kelsey takes action based on her learning and reflection.”

Koll, who is from Chatsworth, Calif., served as a member of the Occupational Therapy Association of Oregon’s Diversity Equity Inclusion Task Force and also was a peer tutor in the School of Occupational Therapy.

Koll graduated from Pacific University in August 2021 with a doctor of occupational therapy degree.

The School of Occupational Therapy offers a three-year professional, entry-level doctoral program that prepares students for national board certification as an occupational therapist.
