Math Professor Nancy Neudauer Continues Her Work in Africa
Mathematics professor Dr. Nancy Ann Neudauer is among approximately 60 women mathematicians meeting this week at Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch, South Africa, for the African Women in Mathematics conference. She is scheduled to deliver a session on "Breaking symmetry in graphs."
Professor Neudauer has long been involved with mathematics in Africa, working with the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) to help establish AIMS locations in Cameroon, Tanzania, Ghana and Rwanda. Part of her work in Africa was sponsored through multiple Fulbright awards she has received.
