The Typographers Dream | Theatre & Dance Fall Season

Live (online) theatre is back at Pacific University. In response to COVID-19, the Theatre and Dance Department is presenting a streamed live online production this fall. Performances of The Typographers Dream are scheduled Oct. 15-18 with evening and matinee performances.

The Typographers Dream is a play by Adam Brock and directed by Ellen Margolis. Three young people — each isolated, idealistic, and yearning — invite us to understand how they see the world. Sharing the most intimate details of their work days, Margaret, Dave and Annalise urge us to consider how we define ourselves. A funny, strange and evocative play for anyone who has ever asked the question, “Am I my job?”

All performances will be live streamed online exclusively through Broadway On Demand. There will be no in-person performances or recordings. Tickets are $5 for general admission and free to students. Learn more about performance schedules and ticket sales.
