We Need You at the May 18 Commencement
Assisting at May 18 Commencement is a great opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2024! The Commencement Planning Team is still seeking 10 more Boxers to lend a hand. The commencement committee has jobs for everyone, from handing out programs and showing guests to their seats to driving guests around in a golf cart.
It's easy for staff to register. Did we mention that snacks, lunch, and beverages will be offered?
To staff members who have already registered — we can't thank you enough! It truly takes a village.
Event staff members need to arrive on the Forest Grove Campus approximately two hours before the 9 a.m. and/or 1:30 p.m. ceremonies. If you have questions about event day logistics, please contact Maegan Jossy, event staff coordinator at maeganj@pacificu.edu.
New Commencement Floating Holiday
Exempt staff are eligible to receive up to four hours of floating holiday time for assisting with one ceremony and up to eight hours for assisting with both ceremonies. Learn more about this new policy. Please note if you are an hourly or non-exempt employee, please work with your supervisor to adjust your schedule to assist at this event.
