James "Jim" Edwin Cason '76, a prominent official in the departments of the Interior and Agriculture during the Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump administrations, died Oct. 7, 2021, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., at the age of 67.
Bill (William) Romley '76 will be inducted into the East Bakersfield (Calif.) High School Hall of Fame in March 2022.

Laird Thornton '76 has retired from Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, Wash. after 30 years of teaching. A retirement concert was held in his honor. 
Dr. Lynn A. Sulerud '76, OD '78 retired following 40 years of service. He was the co-founder of Blaine Eye Clinic in Blaine, MN.
Denise (Price) Giesbers ’00 and Carole Golart ’69, MST ’76 quickly became friends while performing together in the musical, Oklahoma! at the Theatre In The Grove in Forest Grove this past April.
