Campus Venues

Conference and meeting space is available year round at Pacific University. Most classroom/meeting rooms seat between 12 and 125 and are equipped with AV "Smart Podium or Cart" technology. Video-conferencing is also available. Our facilities include a 400-seat performance hall, a 160-seat theater, and a multi-purpose room that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Our athletic facilities include a three-court gymnasium, a field house with turf flooring, nine-lane track, six tennis courts and championship baseball and softball fields. Wireless internet is accessible throughout campus.

Forest Grove Campus map (pdf)

Boxer Pause Room | Washburne Hall | UC | Capacity: 56

This pleasant atmosphere is ideal for meetings, social gatherings, and workshops. It is located near the food service area so is convenient for counselor or group leader meetings during mealtimes.

Kathrin Cawein Gallery | Harvey Scott Hall | Capacity: 50

Adjacent to the old library entrance, the Cawein Gallery is generally used to host art exhibitions. It has a less institutionalized atmosphere for receptions, or guest lectures.

Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) | UC | Capacity: 300

A multi-purpose space includes hardwood flooring, a small stage, piano, large projection screen, data projector, and house sound system. The MPR can seat up to 220 guests banquet style or 300 guests theater style.

Milky Way | Creamery Building | Capacity: 75

This is a large public space, perfect for social gatherings, informal meetings, or film viewing. The Milky Way has a stage and tables. It is also the location for the Outdoor Pursuits.

Old College Hall | Capacity: 48

Old College Hall is a National Historic Building. A traditional setting composed of two separate rooms: Price Memorial Chapel, which can be used for small wedding ceremonies, memorial services or educational programs, and the Tualatin Academy Room which can be used for receptions or meeting areas. There are no restrooms located in this building.

Performance Venues

McCready Hall | Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center | Capacity: 400

This is the main performance venue on campus. has ranked Pacific University's Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center 14th nationally among its "25 Most Amazing University Performance Arts Centers." Designed for musical performances, the acoustics are outstanding. It is ideal for large classes and speakers as well as performers. The large projection screen with built-in projector is easily viewed throughout the hall. The sound system is designed for single microphone amplification. Any additional sound systems and monitors for amplification need to be supplied by the outside contractor. A small covered patio graces the main entrance of the building.

Tom Miles Theater | Warner Hall | Capacity: 160

This theater is designed for drama productions. There is a small lounge on the main floor and restrooms upstairs. This theater is perfect for plays, dance performances, and speakers.

Classrooms and Conference Rooms

Numerous classrooms at Pacific University can seat from 12 to 125. Some are equipped with tables and chairs, others with desks. Most classrooms have ‘smart podium or cart’ technology which includes a computer, projector, document camera, and VHS/CD/DVD player. Conference rooms can seat 12 to 30 guests. Conference rooms have projectors and screens and phone conferencing technology. If you are looking for a conference room with video conferencing capabilities, you would want to reserve our Berglund Conference room.

Athletic Facilities

Main Gymnasium | Stoller Athletic Center | Capacity: 2,800

The 20,000 square foot gym can accommodate three basketball and volleyball courts or one main court when both sets of bleachers are extended.

Fieldhouse | Stoller Athletic Center | Capacity: TBD

The 15,000 square foot Fieldhouse has recently been upgraded with FieldTurf flooring and offers an expansive amount of space.

Lincoln Park Athletic Center

Hanson Stadium will seat 1,100 under the newly constructed roof. It overlooks a nine-lane track and a FieldTurf surface for football, soccer and lacrosse. Championship ball fields include Chuck Bafaro Stadium at Bond Baseball Field and Sherman/Larkins Stadium at the softball field. In addition to the facilities, the Lincoln Park Athletic Complex includes a natural grass field for soccer and field events.

Thomas J. Holce Tennis Courts

The Holce Tennis Complex was honored as one of the top outdoor tennis facilities in 2010 by the National Sport Builders Association. Three of the six courts are covered and enclosed by a steel structure. All courts are lit.

Hillsboro Campus

The Pacific University Hillsboro Campus is located on the regional MAX light rail route at Washington Street and 8th Avenue in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Hillsboro Campus is about 15 minutes from the Forest Grove Campus.

The two-building campus has a number of classrooms and conference rooms that can accommodate from 6 to 60 guests. A two-story atrium is the perfect location for special occasions and can accommodate approximately 100.
