Multimedia Guidelines

The Pacific University brand is represented in photography and videography with high-quality imagery in an authentic, candid style. Capturing real moments that tell a story provides authenticity and creates a sense of place and community in images and video. This candid style is mixed with occasional posed photos to convey the idea that “you belong” at Pacific.

The Office of Marketing & Communications compiles a wealth of photography and videography resources to tell the Pacific University story. Members of the university community are encouraged to leverage these resources for student recruitment and retention, alumni engagement, and fundraising purposes.

Photos on Flickr

Flickr is the preferred web-based photo management tool for the university, and a significant photo library is available via the university’s Flickr photostream. Photos of campus scenes, programs, people and events are added regularly.

Anyone can view the photos on Flickr. To download photos, register for a free Flickr account, then become a contact of Pacific University’s photostream.

If you need assistance or are interested in creating additional online photo sets, contact Marketing & Communications.

Video on Vimeo & YouTube

The university uses Vimeo and YouTube to store and access videos. These videos are available to anyone to view and share.

Adding Resources

If you have photos of campus programs and events that can be leveraged for marketing or that you would like to share on the Pacific University website, please contact the Office of Marketing & Communications to ensure consistent quality and access.
