May Commencement

May Commencement is the crowning finish to the academic year and a time to recognize the outstanding graduating students of Pacific University. Join us on May 16, 2026 to celebrate their graduation. 

May Commencement features two ceremonies:

  • The morning ceremony celebrates graduating undergraduate students in the Division and College of Undergraduate Studies.
  • The afternoon ceremony celebrates graduate and professional program students in the Graduate and Professional Division in the College of Graduate Studies, College of Health Professions, and College of Optometry.

May Commencement 2026

May Commencement will take place Saturday, May 16, on the Forest Grove Campus. The morning ceremony for undergraduate students begins at 9 a.m. The afternoon ceremony for graduate and professional students begins at 1:30 p.m.

Undergraduate Senior Awards Ceremony & Commencement Briefing

Forest Grove, Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center

This mandatory ceremony celebrates senior academic achievements and provides essential logistical briefings for the May Commencement. All graduating seniors must attend to receive final "day-of" instructions.

2026 Senior Salute: A Final Toast

The Senior Salute is a premier celebratory gathering hosted by the Undergraduate Student Senate and university donors to toast the Class of 2026 and formally welcome our newest graduates into the Boxer alumni community.

Celebrate your journey by joining a storied Pacific University tradition at the Sign, Shake and Ring ceremony, where Spring graduates will honor a legacy dating back over a century.
