Automated Lunch Reminders for non-exempt employees and student workers

We're excited to introduce a new feature in Paycom designed to help us all stay compliant with labor regulations and promote the well-being of our employees and student workers.


What's New?
Non-exempt employees, student workers, and their direct supervisors will now automatically receive an email reminder to take their lunch break 5 hours after clocking in, if no lunch has been clocked yet.


Why This Change?
This proactive reminder is an important step in ensuring we follow all applicable labor laws regarding meal breaks. It also helps ensure our non-exempt employees and student workers take their mandated breaks, supporting their overall health and productivity.


What You Need to Know:
• Non-Exempt Employees and student workers: Please use this reminder to take your required meal break before your 6th hour worked.
• Supervisors: The reminder is also sent to you to help monitor and ensure your team stays compliant with their break schedules.
This update reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a compliant, supportive, and well-managed workplace.
