Join author lukas ray hall MFA ’17 for a virtual reading of their debut collection of poetry Loudest When Startled. The reading will be followed by a Q & A session with the author.

The poetry in Loudest When Startled explores the ways in which gun violence has become part of the fundamental nature of relationships, family, and American masculinity. The poems follow two brothers born into gun culture as they navigate their relationship with anger, loss, and guns in entirely different ways with different outcomes.

While this event is free and open to all, advance registration is required.
