BIPOC Let's Talk

BIPOC Let's Talk aims to provide informal drop-in consultations via Zoom (HIPAA-compliant secure platform), hosted by Dr. Daisy Bueno, PhD, Staff Psychologist and EDI Outreach Specialist at the Student Counseling Center, and Sara Summers, Assistant Director of Graduate & Professional Admissions and Eugene Campus EDI Coordinator. The BIPOC Let’s Talk program welcomes students enrolled at Pacific University who self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color), including bi-racial and multi-racial identified individuals. This program is not intended for white-identified allies.

Speaking with BIPOC staff in a confidential space can not only aid students to access support, gain perspectives, explore resources and options, and discuss how therapy might be beneficial, but also helps students to navigate higher education settings, provide mentorship support and build community connection. Please note that BIPOC Let’s Talk is not a substitute for counseling and does not constitute mental health treatment.

This service is free and operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is not required, but you will need to enter your PUNet ID to access the zoom link. We look forward to seeing you there!
