Chair-based Yoga is a gentle class that primarily focuses on seated movement, with several standing practices, using the chair for support. A great class for beginners or anyone looking for a gentle practice, chair-based yoga provides a foundation of mindful movement that is readily accessible in everyday life.

Kropf has been actively practicing yoga for 11 years, and became certified to teach in 2017, when she completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training with Scott Anderson’s Alignment Yoga certification program. In her own life, yoga and mindfulness provide access to a more embodied, peaceful and authentic way of living.
Kropf is passionate about making the benefits of yoga and mindfulness accessible to all. She incorporates trauma-informed teaching modalities to create a safe environment for her students to inquire into their practice with curiosity and self-compassion. Her classes focus on embodied movement, mindfulness, and a balance between effort and ease. She offers a range of styles, including chair-based yoga, restorative, and hatha alignment yoga.
Kropf earned her BA in Family and Human Services from the University of Oregon College of Education in 2015. She is also the Master of Social Work program coordinator on Pacific’s Eugene campus.
