The Pacific University College of Optometry and College of Health Professions, in collaboration with community partners, will host a mobile health fair and open house on Saturday, March 4, in honor of the inauguration of President Jenny Coyle.

The interprofessional educational community event will include on-site patient care services open to the community, including:

  • Visit the EyeVan for vision screenings, patient education, and appointment scheduling with the Pacific EyeClinics
  • Visit the Smile Care Everywhere Van for tours and patient education
  • Visit mobile health units from ¡Salud! and Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center — in partnership with Pacific's School of Physician Assistant Studies — for blood pressure, cholesterol/lipid and blood sugar screenings.
  • Centro Cultural will be on site to provide resource information for the community.

The health fair will be open to the public in Pacific's Parking Lot C at the corner of 19th Avenue and Cedar Street in Forest Grove from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 4. No appointments or registration is required, and screenings are free. All ages are welcome, though children under 15 will require a parent/guardian present for consent.
