Election Conversations & Your Campus Role: Student Leader Training
The US midterm election will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd. Election years can bring heightened tension to campus, making political discussions with friends, roommates, and peers feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.
Designed specifically for for Resident Assistants, USS senators, club exec boards, and other interested students in leadership roles across campus, this 1hr workshop will equip you with practical strategies to gracefully navigate difficult political conversations while upholding your institutional role.
We will explore how to manage these discussions professionally, foster open dialogue, and understand your specific responsibilities as a student leader—especially in compensated roles. Additionally, we will cover key voter engagement strategies so you can effectively help your peers get election-ready before November’s midterm election.
