Old College Hall Open House - Aug. 2026
All are welcome to come and experience the classical revival architecture of the white clapboard Old College Hall, built in 1850, at this month’s open house!
We invite you to come and learn more about the Mother of Oregon, Tabitha Moffat Brown, one of Pacific University’s co-founders. She is one of only six women whose names grace the legislative chambers of the Oregon State Capital and was given the title “The Mother of Oregon” by the 1987 Oregon legislature. A volunteer from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove will be present to give you a tour and tell you more about the life and work of Grandma Brown at the Old College Hall museum.
No registration is required for this open house.
Pacific University would like to thank the dedicated docents from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove for donating their time, energy, and knowledge to guiding tours at Old College Hall every month.
