Old College Hall Open House - July 2026
Take a break from the day and join some incredible volunteers from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove, who can give you a tour of Old College Hall. You must have a ticket to the Concours d’Elegance to access Old College Hall this month, but all visitors are welcome again at the August open house!
Built in 1850, this iconic white clapboard building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts a museum gallery on the second floor that provides a window into the early days of Pacific University and the Forest Grove region as a whole.
Old College Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, just a year after the Rotary Club of Forest Grove created the Concours d'Elegance to raise funds for scholarships and community service projects, including the recent installation of a peace pole near Old College Hall.
Another such project funded by the Rotary Club of Forest Grove is a labyrinth next door to Old College Hall built in honor of President Faith Gabelnick who served Pacific from 1995 to 2005. Make sure to visit and take a walk after you’ve taken in all the Concours d'Elegance has to offer.
No registration is required for this event, but only Concours d’Elegance ticketholders may attend this month.
Pacific University would like to thank the dedicated docents from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove for donating their time, energy, and knowledge to guiding tours at Old College Hall every month.
