Old College Hall Open House - June 2026
Escape the heat and step beneath the deciduous and coniferous trees that surround Old College Hall for this monthly open house! This 176 year-old building was the origin of Pacific University and now holds one of the only museums dedicated to the stories and history of the college and the Forest Grove region. If you can’t get enough of Forest Grove, check out the Friends of Historic Forest Grove Museum & Library in the Old Train Station on Wednesdays and Saturdays or by appointment.
Take a tour hosted by one of the dedicated volunteers from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove to learn more about the history of Old College Hall, Pacific University, and Forest Grove as a whole. They’ll be more than happy to share news about ongoing local preservation projects as well!
Experience the history and architecture Old College Hall has to offer while the campus is quiet and the parking is plentiful. When you’re done, make sure to walk the labyrinth next door. This special place of peace was funded by the Rotary Club of Forest Grove in honor of President Faith Gabelnick who served Pacific from 1995 to 2005.
No registration is required for this open house.
Pacific University would like to thank the dedicated docents from the Friends of Historic Forest Grove for donating their time, energy, and knowledge to guiding tours at Old College Hall every month.
