For the purposes of demonstrating and strengthening support of student success and mission fulfillment at Pacific, the university has developed an overarching accreditation goal, which is pursued through two objectives:

Pacific's educational programs and support systems will provide the excellent educational experience students need in order to be inspired to think, care, create and pursue justice in our world.
- Academic Effectiveness: Academic programs support successful learning and student achievement.
- Student Support Effectiveness: Student support systems help students persist and succeed.
Pacific annually tracks its progress in meeting important benchmarks on behalf of these objectives in order to plan and implement improvements.
