Ryan Francis is a composer, pianist and producer whose work has received grants and awards including from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Jerome Foundation, the Augustine Foundation, the American Composers Forum, RACC, and his music has been performed across the U.S. and internationally.  His music is available on Tzadik Records.

Dr. Francis teaches composition, music theory, music technology, and world music studies at Pacific University.  He holds a B.M. in music composition from the University of Michigan and an M.M. and D.M.A. in music composition from the Juilliard School.
