RECRUITMENT IS CLOSING, but there is still time to participate in the following research study: Exploring the Effects of Participating in a Mindfulness Practice Community on College Educators’ Mental Well-being, conducted by Robbie Pock, doctoral candidate in Pacific University’s PhD in Education and Leadership program, under the supervision of Dr. Mark Szymanski (Primary Investigator).
The undergraduate tuition exchange application period is open from October 1 to November 30 for the upcoming academic year. Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year will be accepted starting Thursday, October 1, 2026, through Monday, November 30, 2026.
The updated General Workplace Grievance and Complaint Policy is now published and available on the central University Policies & Governance Directory.
This policy outlines the formal process for addressing general workplace concerns and interpersonal or operational grievances. To ensure issues are addressed at the most direct and effective level, the policy establishes a structured, step-by-step approach to resolving grievances.
The Faculty and Staff Senates are requesting all employees who are Regence users to comment on a potential change from Regence to Gravie. Please review the presentation slides from Nonstop Health and use the linked Google Doc to leave a comment.
Next week, join the Pacific University Libraries for our 6th annual Libraries Week celebration! This year’s theme is…bugs?!? Advising for current College of Undergraduate Studies students begins for Winter Term and Spring Semester.
All interested faculty, staff, and students are invited to join the McCall Center for Civic Engagement and the Pacific Votes team for a 45-minute drop-in briefing on campus election readiness. These short sessions will keep campus partners updated on our voter engagement work, help coordinate key logistics, and ensure we're fully prepared to support our campus community through the Nov 3 midterm election.
Join the national No Shame movement through this 60 minute workshop that dives into the intersections between substance use, addiction, recovery and mental health.
Drop-In Yoga is open to all Pacific University students, staff, and faculty. There is no requirement to sign up, or to attend each week. Yoga meets you where you are, and will be here on those days when you are really needing to come to your mat!
