The engineering science major at Pacific University is for dual-degree students who are planning further work in a specialty via a joint program in engineering or other technical fields.
Dual-degree programs are designed for students to spend three years at Pacific, followed by two years at an engineering school. At Pacific, students complete the liberal arts core, a minor within the natural sciences, and prerequisite courses for admission to engineering school. Students then spend two years in engineering school, where they complete coursework specific to their chosen field of engineering. Upon completion of the dual-degree program, students will receive both a bachelor of science in engineering science from Pacific and a bachelor of science in engineering from the partner school.
