The Director of Housing is responsible for the management of the on-campus student housing operation and assists students in housing-related matters and problem-solving. This position strives to routinely improve housing processes, so that students’ needs and concerns are being anticipated and addressed.

The Housing Specialist is a resource for students and their parents regarding housing policies and procedures. This person assists the Director of Housing with processes such as housing assignments, housing lottery, room and meal plan changes and room and board billing.

The Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct is responsible for creating a dynamic residence life program with well-trained staff who are dedicated to student engagement, learning, safety, and principles of community. This person is also responsible for the development and administration of the University’s student conduct system for all University students.
Assistant Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct

The Assistant Director of Residence Life and Student Conduct strives to carry out the missions of Residence Life and Student Conduct through leadership, education, staff training, and daily interactions. This position supervises the Community Assistants (CAs) and Student Conduct Board members. The Assistant Director supports the development and administration of the University’s student conduct system for all University students.
|Jared Begg is an Area Coordinator (AC). He is a full-time, professional staff member who lives year-round on campus. He is responsible for several residential buildings, including supervising student staff, overseeing hall programming, and promoting respectful conduct. This person serves as Advisor for Pacific's chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH.) This person also serves as a Student Conduct hearing officer and a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.|
|The Area Coordinator (AC) is responsible for several residential buildings and strives to carry out the missions of Residence Life and Student Conduct through leadership, education, staff selection and training, supervising student staff, overseeing hall programming, and promoting respectful conduct. This person also serves as a Student Conduct hearing officer and a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.|
The Residence Life and Student Conduct Coordinator supports key functions of both the Residence Life and Student Conduct departments, supervising Gilbert Hall and advising Residence Hall Association (RHA.) This person is integral in the University’s response to student conduct through work with investigations, hearings, appeals, and educational outreach. They also serve as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator. The Coordinator also directs administrative processes for all Residence Life functions, including move-in’s and move-out’s, facility inspections, expense tracking, and key systems.
Residence Life Paraprofessional Staff 2018-2019
Resident Assistants (RA’s) are full-time students and serve in a paraprofessional leadership position. The RAs assist the ACs in managing the housing operations, building a sense of community and respect on each floor, and maintaining University policy. RAs are responsible for planning activities that encourage involvement and interaction on each floor. They have been trained to be someone with whom you can talk and to be a link to many campus services and resources.
Community Assistants (CA’s) are full-time students and serve in a paraprofessional leadership position. The CAs work with the RA's and professional staff in managing the housing operations, coordinating programming for residence hall students, and maintaining University policy. CAs are responsible for planning activities that encourage involvement and interaction within the residence halls, campus and the surrounding community. They have been trained to be someone with whom you can talk and to be a link to many campus services and resources.
Senior Resident Assistants (SRA’s) are specially selected veteran RAs. In addition to all responsibilities of the RA position, SRAs assist the professional staff in staff selection and training, Hall Government advising, and administrative tasks.
Senior Community Assistants (SCA’s) are specially selected veteran staff members. In addition to all responsibilities of the CA position, SCAs assist the professional staff in staff selection and training, and administrative tasks.
Vandervelden Assistant is a full-time student and serves in a paraprofessional leadership position. The person assists the RA and professional staff in developing community and supporting students in Vandervelden.
