Student, Employee, and Alumni Names Policy

This policy is designed to recognize that many students, alumni and employees use given names other than their legal names to identify themselves. It establishes the University’s use of chosen names for students, alumni and employees in certain instances, while maintaining the use of legal names where required. Consistent with Pacific University’s commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus environment, this policy aims to support the name choices of all students, alumni, and employees.

This policy supersedes POL-EMSA7001 and now includes employees and alumni in addition to current students.
