Veteran Counseling Services
Psychologists at the Student Counseling Center have completed UC4 training provided through the Center for Deployment Psychology. The UC4 is CDP’s University Counseling Center Core Competency program, which is a full-day presentation designed to address the social, cultural, clinical, and campus-specific concerns of service members and veterans.
Students who are service members or veterans are invited to seek consultation, crisis support, or ongoing therapy through the Student Counseling Center.
Services are subsidized by the university, and there is no fee for the first 10 appointments in any given academic year. Cost for appointments beyond 10 is $15 per meeting.
The Student Counseling Center does not provide family therapy services, though we are happy to provide referrals to providers in the community who can provide counseling or consultation to the families of service members or veterans.
