Staff Senate Meetings

The Staff Senate typically meets the third Wednesday of each month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  All Staff Senate meetings in AY 2020-2021 will be held by Zoom. Two hours of meeting time are scheduled, but we will work to hold meetings to one hour if possible. Please email kimg@pacificu.edu to request the link for meetings. 

The following guidelines have been drafted by the Provost’s Office in consultation with campus leadership and in consideration of our University Faculty and Governance Handbook. They are meant ensure we remain in compliance with internal and external governance requirements, but lighten the load on faculty and staff whenever possible to address the added workload of meeting student needs during the COVID-19 Pandemic. 2020-2021 Governance Recommendations

The Staff Senate maintains an open door policy. Any full- or part-time staff member is welcome to attend any senate meeting either in person or via conference technology. To have an item or discussion topic added to the agenda, or to request conference technology, please contact staffsenate@pacificu.edu.

All Staff Meetings

All non-faculty employees are invited to a quarterly meeting for news, updates and announcements. These All Staff meetings are scheduled quarterly on or near the fourth Wednesday of the month, beginning with the new fiscal year in July. Traditionally these meetings are held from 9 to 10:30 a.m but to comply with social distancing requirements due to COVID-19, All Staff meetings will be pre-recorded and delivered by email on meeting dates. To get on the All Staff agenda, please email staffsenate@pacificu.edu.
