Practice/Research Interests

Dr. Stolte is an infectious diseases pharmacy specialist with particular interests in antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial allergies, and healthcare process improvement. She enjoys caring for patients across the continuum of care, from critically ill inpatients with complex infections to outpatients receiving prolonged antimicrobial therapy.

She has a broad range of research interests, with a particular goal of improving the management and antimicrobial stewardship of common infectious diseases, including urinary tract infections, community-acquired pneumonia, and skin and soft tissue infections. She is also interested in improving antimicrobial use through innovative clinical and health-system interventions. Across these areas, she hopes to contribute to research that addresses gaps in the evidence, particularly for understudied patient populations.

Outside the Classroom

Dr. Stolte is an avid traveler, food enthusiast, and hiker. Originally from Northwest Indiana, she is excited to explore all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, from its mountains and forests to its vibrant food scene. Beyond the PNW, she hopes to visit as many National Parks as possible, both within and outside the United States.
