Mary is an Associate Clinical Professor who finds tremendous joy in working with and from students. Her professional interests include clinical education, language/literacy interventions for school-age students, service delivery in school settings, collaboration, and high quality professional learning.

Headlines

Dr. Mitchell is a clinical faculty member who works closely with graduate students to prepare them for their speech-language pathology clinical experiences in school-based settings, teaching courses in clinical methods and school-age language and literacy disorders. 

The Oregon Speech-Language-Hearing Association has has awarded its 2023 annual Award of Clinicianship to Assistant Professor Mary Mitchell, School of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
