Anjali Rupela OD '21: Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care from the College of Optometry

Anjali Rupela OD ’21 received the Pacific University College of Optometry 2021 Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care.

The award recognizes a student member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington who exemplifies the association’s values. Rupela is from Redmond, Wash., and earned her doctor of optometry degree from Pacific in May 2021.

The College of Optometry provides a foundation in basic and clinical sciences, as well as significant hands-on experience in serving diverse populations of patients. Students also are involved in outreach locally and around the world, as they prepare to serve patients anywhere their careers take them. The college offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programs in vision science, as well as a doctor of optometry degree.
