Boxer Brand: Meet the MarCom Team

Pacific’s Marketing & Communications team supports strategic efforts around student recruitment, alumni engagement, fundraising, and employee/student communications. It’s a field that’s evolving rapidly, and that means we sometimes change our priorities and work with new technology and trends. Meet the members of the MarCom team and learn more about what we do:

Jenni Luckett MNL ‘24
Associate Vice President for Marketing & Communications

Jenni manages overall marketing and communications strategy, budget, planning, evaluation, policy and procedure, and staffing. She works with the university’s enrollment marketing initiative and supports all executive communications.

Alex Bell ‘13
Creative Director

Alex manages the visual identity of the university in digital and print spaces, including brand standards, online user experience design, and multimedia. She serves as managing editor of Pacific magazine, and supervises graphic design, photography and videography staff.

Liz Moyer
Graphic Designer

Liz designs branded material for print and digital spaces, including the pacificu.edu website, Pacific magazine and signature events. She also creates and manages templates for the university community.

Kent Edwards
Content Specialist-Photography

Kent is a photographer in the Office of Marketing & Communications, creating images for print and digital collateral with a focus on enrollment marketing and storytelling.

Elizabeth Jerabek
Director of Digital Engagement

Elizabeth oversees all centralized ways that stakeholders interact with the university digitally, including web content, alumni/donor email marketing, social media, and digital advertising. She works with the university’s enrollment marketing initiative and manages all digital ad campaigns. She also supervises email marketing, social media and web/blog content staff.

Michelle Carew
Assistant Director of Digital Engagement

Michelle manages content on the pacificu.edu website with responsibility for top-level external-facing content. She trains and supports web editors across the university, and supports search engine optimization.

Dana Schot ‘15
Assistant Director of Digital Engagement

Dana strategizes and manages all centralized social media channels for the university and provides support, as able, to unit-level social media managers. She also runs email marketing campaigns for alumni and donor audiences.

Benjamin Kessler
Content Specialist-Writing

Benjamin writes and manages the Pacific University blog, with an emphasis on search engine optimization for student recruitment.

Blake Timm ‘98
Associate Director of Communications

Blake is the lead feature storyteller in the Office of Marketing & Communications, as well as media relations liaison. He writes for Pacific magazine and digital publications, pitches stories, and monitors Pacific representation in professional media.

Rosie Fiallo
Assistant Director of Communications

Rosie is a staff writer in the Office of Marketing & Communications. She manages news and calendar posts on the pacificu.edu website, edits class notes for Pacific magazine, and writes content for print and digital publications. She also supports internal communications for students and employees.

Ryan Wetherill
Web Developer

Ryan is responsible for implementing front-end and back-end development on the pacificu.edu Drupal website.

Coming soon: We are also hiring for a content specialist-marketing videographer, to replace Mathias Reid ’20, who departed this summer. This position will create videos with a primary focus on YouTube, social media and storytelling for student recruitment, alumni engagement, and fundraising.
