Heather Sappenfield MFA '11 Writes Middle Grade Novel

Heather Sappenfield MFA '11 wrote a middle grade novel, The River Between Hearts, that will be published on Feb. 1, 2022 from Fitzroy Books/Regal House. The River Between Hearts is about adventure and unexpected paths towards healing.

Sappenfield is the winner of the V Press LC Compilation Book Prize, was nominated for the MPIBA’s Reading the West Awards, and was featured on Colorado Public Radio.
