Library Update | Finals, Student Advisory Board, Survey

Tran LibraryPacific University Libraries are offering a host of services for undergraduate students as they prepare for finals week from Dec. 1 to 8. From chat and email to Zoom research and tutoring, students are covered with academic support. The Libraries also want to improve the delivery of services and the quality of resources. Join the student advisory board and get paid to improve the Libraries. If you want less of a commitment, take a library survey and provide feedback. Students could win a gift card for taking the survey!

Finals Help

The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) will continue to offer online tutoring through finals week this year. If you need help polishing your final papers or want to prepare for your final exams with a peer, make an appointment for an online session with a tutor today! Research librarians are also available for online appointments, and students may chat, email or call library staff for assistance.  Learn more about Pacific University Libraries access and hours at the Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Woodburn and Eugene campuses.

Student Advisory Board

Are you passionate about libraries and want to help shape Pacific's library services? The Pacific University Libraries are creating a new student advisory board to provide feedback on library resources and services. Advisory board members are paid for their service and can serve for one to three academic years. There are seven undergraduate and seven graduate/professional positions available. Students may complete an online application through Friday, Dec. 4.

Libraries Survey

Pacific University Libraries are conducting a survey to gather student feedback on how to continue improving resources and services. Please consider taking 15 minutes to complete the survey. At the end of the survey, students may enter a drawing to win one of (10) $50 Visa gift cards.
