The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS), operated by the Pacific University Libraries, offers peer tutoring to undergraduate, graduate, and professional program students. Tutoring is available online, and in-person at the Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses.
In collaboration with Academic and Career Advising, CLASS also offers peer academic coaching to undergraduate students. Academic Coaching is available online, and in-person at the Forest Grove campus.
Current students provide all of the tutoring and coaching for CLASS. Peer tutors and coaches and are trained in the practice of peer tutoring and/or coaching to help other students learn and succeed. Peer tutors are approved by the departments for which they provide support.
Peer tutoring and coaching are available in 1-hour sessions. Appointments are encouraged. For more information, see our pages on tutoring and coaching.
