Stuart Leijon '15 Receives National Intellectual Property Writing Award
Stuart Leijon '15 won the 2020 Robert C. Watson Award by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) for his paper on data privacy. The paper, Data, People, and Property: Modernizing Privacy Through Intellectual Property Law, discusses granting intellectual property rights to individuals to help mitigate issues around improper use of consumer data. Leijon will receive the award at the AIPLA Annual Meeting scheduled in Washington, D.C, in October 2021.
