Student and Employee Health Center to Consolidate COVID-19 Home Test Inventory

The Student and Employee Health Center is collecting unused COVID-19 self-tests kits in an effort to centralize distribution.

Previously, tests were distributed to various offices and organizations around Pacific university campuses as part of the COVID-19 Response Protocol. As the university begins to reach the end of its in-house supply, we are asking anyone with a stock of these tests to please deliver them to the Student and Employee Health Center by Feb. 28, 2023.

Looking for a test?

The at-home, over-the-counter diagnostic tests are available from the Student and Employee Health Center, pharmacies, drug stores and certain grocery retailers, while supplies last.

Individuals who are able, are encouraged to purchase tests as needed. These tests are eligible for payment through the flexible spending account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA). The BinaxNow test is readily available at a number of local retailers. Search your area to check availability.

If you have questions related to purchasing large quantities of tests please contact Amy Rasmussen, Emergency Management director at, amy.rasmussen@pacificu.edu

Expiring tests?

If you have tests that are showing recent expiration dates, check the brand and determine if an extension has been granted by the FDA from their General Information page.
