How to find a tutor, make an appointment, and visit the Center for Learning and Student Success:
- View the tutoring schedule. You'll have to login using your PUNet ID to access the schedule.
- Select your course or choose "writing" from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Click on a white box to make an appointment for an available time.
- Prepare for your session. Gather drafts, notes, and course materials related to what you'd like to work on with the tutor.
- Meet your tutor at the designated location at your appointment time. Your tutor will be wearing a name tag and will be waiting for you!
Contact or visit the circulation desk in the library on the Forest Grove or Hillsboro campuses for more information and assistance with scheduling.
Appointments are available and encouraged for most CLASS tutoring hours. This is the best way to ensure 1-on-1 time with a tutor. If you would like to make a group appointment with a tutor, have one member of your group schedule the appointment and indicate the number in your group in the comments field. If an appointment time is not reserved, you are welcome to walk-in to CLASS and meet with the available tutor.
If the appointment time that you'd like to schedule is already taken, you may add yourself to the waitlist using the link at the bottom of each daily schedule. If someone cancels an appointment or is marked as a no-show, everyone on the waitlist will receive a notification that the time is available to be scheduled. If you are unable to find a time that works for you, contact Josie Ragolia, Student Success Librarian, firstname.lastname@example.org.
