Become endorsed as a Reading Specialist in our 100% online Reading Interventionist Endorsement with Dyslexia Certificate program.
Pacific University's College of Education offers a 20-semester credit Reading Interventionist Add-on Endorsement with Dyslexia Certificate program. The program is designed to ensure that candidates who obtain the Reading Intervention Endorsement expand and deepen skills and knowledge related to Dyslexia and other reading difficulties for preK-12 students. - Aligns with the International Dyslexia Association Knowledge and Practice Standards, research, theories and models that align with the Science of Reading, Oregon’s Literacy Framework, and Oregon’s Literacy Standards
- Prepares teachers to support students who may have a specified learning disorder related to their literacy acquisition.
In addition to coursework and practicum, candidates must pass the state-approved reading specialist test, and submit a required portfolio or case study.
