At Pacific University, students build a foundation in the liberal arts and sciences that prepares them for whatever tomorrow brings.
Our future-focused curriculum opportunities give students a direct pathway into graduate programs here at Pacific or anywhere else, as they prepare for meaningful careers and lifelong learning.
The Advantage Scholars Program offers specialized programming for any student pursuing a career in the health professions. Take advantage of pre-professional advising, hear from guest speakers, and take courses specifically designed to help you explore and prepare for a career in the health professions. Advantage Scholars complete the prerequisite courses and observational hours they need to become strong candidates for graduate school, including Pacific's health professions programs.
The Optometry Scholars Program is an academically challenging program designed for Pacific University undergraduates on their way to the College of Optometry's doctor of optometry program. Participating students can gain conditional acceptance into the College of Optometry during their undergraduate years. Optometry Scholars may also choose to participate in the Advantage Scholars Program.
Accelerated Tracks & Dual Enrollment
Move directly from undergraduate to graduate school with one of Pacific's dual enrollment or accelerated track programs. Motivated students can make the most of their coursework and shave time off of their studies with accelerated pathways to engineering, athletic training, social work, and optometry school.
Pre-professional tracks at Pacific provide curricular pathways and specialized advising for students preparing for specific graduate programs. Participating students get a guide to preparing for graduate school, have the chance to meet professionals in their fields, and network with peers with similar interests.
