Join Coordinator Jill Moffitt for a virtual training on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 12:00 – 1:00pm, designed to help you navigate the updates and understand your rights and responsibilities.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a national recognized suicide prevention training. This training is being offered via collaboration between the Student Counseling Center and Dean Jaye Cee Whitehead. This empirically-validated training will equip you to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communication of people at risk as well as gain the skills to act and help save a life.
QPR training also includes important information about resources at Pacific as well as education about making referrals and navigating boundaries while supporting someone in distress.
