Asynchronous Mental Health Training Resource - Student Mental Health Guide
The Student Counseling Center, Mental Health Promotion Working Group, and Assistant Director of Student Wellbeing are excited to share about a new training resource for the Pacific campus community.
Following the launch of the Faculty and Staff Guide to Student Mental Health, we’ve developed an asynchronous Moodle course to make this important training more accessible to all faculty and staff. Learn how to access this resource below!
This 30-minute Moodle course equips employees to:
- Recognize and respond to student mental health concerns
- Navigate complex support relationships
- Make effective and appropriate referrals
,
The guide includes insights from the 2023 Healthy Minds Study (which will be returning in Fall 2026) and reflects the expertise of faculty, staff, and students who contributed to its development. A student-facing version of the guide is also in progress to support peer-to-peer care.
How to Enroll:
You can self-enroll by visiting the course page in Moodle. Upon completion, participants unlock a digital email badge to add to their signature and receive an exclusive Student Counseling Center referral sticker to display in their workspace, signaling their commitment to supporting student mental health.
We invite you to participate and join us in strengthening our campus-wide support for student wellbeing.
