Cultural Competency: Navigating the risks and rewards of fasting in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Fasting is a regular practice that has been highly regarded by most religions for centuries. In addition, people fast for non-religious reasons to achieve their well-being and health-related goals. A few Pharmacy Students and faculty are organizing a Continuing Education (CE) at Hillsboro Campus CHP on Feb 26th, 2026, 4:30-7:00 PM.
Please join us and learn more about fasting practices across different cultures and religions and the role that diet and fasting can play in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dinner will be served and this symbolic event is free of charge for all attendees.
In order to accommodate appropriate room size & food amount, we are asking to fill out the enclosed survey by Monday, Feb 23rd, if you will be attending.
Thank you!
