2/12- Thursday @ 5-6PM, Zoom: QPR Suicide Prevention Training
Join staff from the Student Counseling Center and be trained in Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a national recognized suicide prevention training. This empirically-validated training will equip you to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communication of people at risk as well as gain the skills to act and help save a life.
2/16- Monday @ 11-1PM, Vanders Nook: SAD Cave
Feeling the winter blues? Drop by for activities and knowledge to support yourself through the dark months. Learn how to know if you have the winter blues or Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and what you can do about it. Visit for: light therapy stations, free snacks and tea, crafts and plants to decorate your room, trail maps and ideas to get outside, and more.
2/16- Monday @ 5-6PM, Zoom: Mental Glow Up
Increase awareness of your mind and body, gain understanding of your experiences, and help move your life in a more fulfilling direction.
2/17- Tuesday @ 12-1PM, UC: Craft! Friendship Bracelets!
Join SCC staff for a free crafting project! We'll supply everything you need to create friendship bracelets for yourself, friends, teammates and more!
2/26, Thursday @ 5-6PM, Zoom: Effective and Engaged Learning
Explore how to boost your engagement and learning through a dive into executive functioning skills. Review strategies to help address procrastination, boost time management, build focus, give your memory some help, and develop more effective decision-making. Executive functioning skills are the foundation of effective and engaged learning, come learn how to nurture these skills!
