Course description: How do you translate your college degree into a compelling professional story? This course bridges the gap between academic achievement and professional employment by equipping job-seeking students with the tactical tools (resume, interview practice, networking, etc) and the strategic mindset required to navigate the modern labor market. Students will learn how to identify their transferable skills, curate a digital presence, and build meaningful professional relationships, ensuring they enter the workforce with a clear sense of agency and purpose.

This course is ideal for seniors planning to enter the workforce after graduation, but who don't have a job yet or are interested in learning how to navigate the hidden job market. It is a 1-credit, P/NP hybrid course designed to be a feasible amount of work for seniors as they are also completing their senior capstone projects. At least half of the sessions will be virtual. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing (30 or more completed credits) or one class from ENGW 180, 181, 182, or 183. Contact Melissa with questions at melissav@pacificu.edu
